atelier le balto
*founded by Marc Pouzol und Laurent Dugua in 2001
Marc Pouzol leads the Berliner landscape architecture office together with the french landscape architect Véronique Faucheur. The atelier’s focus is the transformation of the outdoors with a persuading touch of minimal interventions and attention to the existing. Through this, they develop isolated, wild and fallow green areas anew with aesthetic aspects and open them for the public.
Together with Marc Vatinel from Le Havre, France, atelier le balto has created gardens and parks for many, often culturally important places like Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Villa Romana in Florence, the Ludwig-Forum in Aachen, the Landesmuseum in Mainz and in Berlin for the Kunst-Werke, the Hamburger Train Station, the Jewish Museum and the Berlinische Gallery.
