*1998 in Rotterdam

Observatorium was founded 1998 as a trust in Rotterdam by Geert van de Camp, Andre Dekker and Ruud Reutelingsperger. The group sees itself as a border crosser between architecture and art, between urban planning and landscaping. During the last few years, Observatorium has developed many projects in the Ruhr Area, the last one for the Lippeverband, called LippePolderPark in Dorsten in 2015. For Nomanslanding, part of the Ruhrtriennale in Duisburg, Observatorium collaborated with four more artists from Australia and Scotland.
