The South Korean artist Sujin Do uses different media for her works like video, photography and sculpture. Do started her studies at the Seoul Institute of the Arts in the department photography. In the year 2005 she came to Germany and started studying at the Kunstakademie Münster (Academy of Fine Arts in Münster); at first in the class of Guillaume Bijl from 2006 until 2009 and since 2009 with Maik and Dirk Löbbert; where she got appointed “Meisterschüler” (master student) in 2011. For EMSCHERKUNST.2010 the South Korean drafted the “Safety Helmets” which were shown within the framework of the project “Golden Village – BASIS” by the Kunstakademie Münster at the Recklinghausen city harbour.
